The three major functions of heating, ventilation and air conditioning are interrelated, especially with the need to provide thermal comfort and acceptable indoor air quality within reasonable installation, operation, and maintenance costs. HVAC systems can be used in both domestic and commercial environments. HVAC systems can provide ventilation and interfere with heating and cooling.
At Bau we can design, install maintain these systems along with a fully functional BMS design which will have full control of these functions are can be integrated into one or more HVAC systems.
The design aspect will include estimating the capacity and type of system needed and then designing the system, selecting the appropriate refrigerant and various components needed. We define ourselves as Specialist mechanical contractors with our partners who supply then fabricate our bespoke products allowing procurement, design and installation times to be minimalised.
We partner with Daikin, Mitsubishi and Samsung. Therefore all our in-house engineers are well trained up to the newest regulations and standards.
Commercial heating systems can be via air source heat pump, ground source heat pump, gas fired boiler amongst others. These can either be direct or indirect systems utilising a plate heat exchanger or similar to ensure the separation of two water systems preventing contamination. Our team can work with you to find the best solution for your build.
Our knowledgeable team of engineers undertake installations of two main systems, R410a and R32. We specialise in the installation of VRF systems, DX Coils and split systems amongst others. The size and type of the system will be determined by many factors such as; heat load of area, glazing, fabric U values etc.
Natural ventilation is typically achieved through two main systems: air handling units and heat recovery units, both of which can use warm exhaust air to preheat cool intake air for enhanced energy efficiency. Our extensive experience in designing and installing these systems ensures we consistently meet high standards.
